1958 Manufacture Jaquot-Lavergne  new organ in old case

In 1892 Merklin built a two-manual choir organ with fifteen stops for the Basilique Notre-Dame in Albert. The instrument survived World War I and was the only organ in the church until 1958. In that year, the Jacquot-Lavergne company built a new main organ, for which Merklin's pipework from the choir organ was also used. A new choir organ was placed in Merklin's case, with a unit for Grand Orgue and Pédale and five stops on the Récit.
