Built by: Fincham & Hobday (1887)
Demolished? (1962?)
- The company Fincham & Hobday built a three-manual organ in a beautiful neo-Gothic case for the Jubilee Exhibition in Adelaide. The instrument was first played on June 21, 1887, at the opening of the exhibition. The nomenclature is translated in German for the 'Zeitschrift für Instrumentenbau', but it is likely that it actually is written in English. The organ was placed in Archer Street Methodist Church in Adelaide (North Adelaide) after the exhibition. This church was built after a design by Edmund William Wright in 1856, and could be dedicated in 1857.
- Archer Street Methodist Church was demolished in 1962 and replaced by the Memorial Church.
