The organ in Notre-Dame of La Ferté-Bernard was built by Pierre Bert in the years 1532-1536. The beautiful organ case was made by Evrard Baudot. The instrument was radically rebuilt in the nineteenth century. It was restored in 1938 by Paul Beurtin. In 1986, Jean Renaud and Gildas Ménoret carried out a restoration, reconstructing the organ according to its presumed original design.
