  • In 1867 Philipp Furtwängler built a new organ for the Stephanuskirche in Egestorf. It was the builder's first organ. The original front pipes were requisitioned in 1917. These were later replaced by zinc pipes.
  • In 1952 the company Weißenborn changed the disposition. A first restoration was carried out in 1972 by the Hillebrand company. New tin front pipes have been installed. In 1998, Franz Rietzsch carried out a new restoration, with the aim of completely restoring the original situation. Rietzsch made a new second windchest for the pedal, on which the reeds were placed. In stead of the Trompete he placed a Choralbaß 4' on the original windchest of the pedal.
