  • In 1808 Louis Geib built an eight-stop organ for the Église Saint-Maurice in Besançon. It was expanded in 1838 by the brothers Joseph and Igance Callinet with a second manual, the Positif. In 1870 Nicolas Verschneider expanded it with a Récit as third keyboard. The organ has been preserved in this form.
  • Jean Deloye restored the instrument in 1970. Bernard Aubertin carried out a new restoration in 1999.
