Het orgel in Saint Thomas' Church in Ellesmere Port is afkomstig uit Saint Michael's Church, op de hoek van Bridge Street en Pepper Street in Chester. Het werd gebouwd door Forster & Andrews. Het bouwjaar is niet bekend, maar het kerkgebouw werd in de jaren 1849-1850 herbouwd naar ontwerp van James Harrison. Na de sluiting van Saint Michael's Church in 1972 is het gebouw omgebouwd tot een toeristencentrum. Het orgel is rond 1978 overgeplaatst naar Ellesmere Port. De kerk van Saint Thomas werd in 1957 gebouwd.
