After the rebuilding of the Marktkirche in Essen in 1952, an organ was installed by the Stahlhuth firm. This instrument was demolished around 1994 and replaced by an electronic 'resonator' organ from the Kienle company. In 2010 a small continuo organ was installed by Andreas Schiegnitz. The Kienle organ was no longer present in 2012.
