The Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Kirche in Berlin-Lichterfelde was built in 1980-1981 and was inaugurated on the Sunday of the first Advent, November 29, 1981. The community had existed since 1970 and until then used the Gemeindezentrum on Thuner Platz. On June 13, 1971, a small organ built by Karl Schuke was inaugurated here. This organ was built in 1952 for the Kirche zum Heilsbron in Berlin-Schöneberg as the second opus of the company. In 1958 it was transferred to the Hephato-Gemeinde in Berlin-Neukölln. Then it was sold to Lichterfelde. In 1995 the organ was overhauled by the Karl Schuke company. The Quintadena 16' of the pedal was replaced with a Subbaß.
