- In 1867 the Steinmeyer firm built an organ for the Sankt Stephanuskirche in Mindelheim. It was the firm's opus 65. The organ has mechanical action with cone chests. It was a relatively large two-manual organ with 33 stops.
- In 1952 the organ was rebuilt by Josef Zeilhuber, who constructed an organ with electropneumatic action and cone chests. Much of Steinmeyer pipes were reused. In 1958 this organ was expanded with a third manual (Brustungspositiv), after which it had 47 stops. In 1994, the Kubak company overhauled the instrument and modified the stop list.
- In 2014 the organ was demolished and replaced by a new building.
