Het orgel van de Martinskirche in Basel werd oorspronkelijk in 1787 gebouwd door Johann Jacob Brosy voor de Münsterkirche. Het werd in 1856 overgeplaatst naar de Martinskirche, nadat een nieuw orgel was gebouwd voor de Münster. Het orgel is in de loop van de tijd zeer ingrijpend gewijzigd. In 1906 voerde Ernst Gottlieb Weigle een modernisering uit, waarbij de dispositie is gewijzigd. In 1928 bouwde Josef Zimmermann het orgel om naar pneumatiek. De firma Kuhn voerde in 1984 een restauratie uit. De situatie van 1928 is daarbij geconsolideerd.
