  • The first Nazarethkirche in Berlin-Wedding was built according to plans by Karl Schinkel in the years 1833-1835. The church was inaugurated on July 5, 1835. Carl August Buchholz supplied an organ that, with eleven stops divided over two manuals and pedal, was one of his smaller works.
  • The church was replaced in 1893 by a new larger church. The old church was converted into a Gemeindehaus in 1906. The company Dinse installed a new organ in the new church. The Buchholz organ was transferred in 1906 to the Altlutherische Kirche on Usedomstraße. It no longer exists. It may have been lost in World War II. The disposition is unknown. The building survived the war and is now called Alte Nazarethkirche. The upper hall is again used for church services under the name Schinkelsaal.
