Built by: Balthasar Schlimbach (1883)

In the church of the Heilige Kreuzerhöhung in Assmannshausen there is an organ by Balthasar Schlimbach from 1883. The organ has been out of use for a long time. In 2019 it was announced that all funds have been brought together to have the organ restored. The aim was to return the instrument to its original situation. Over the years, the disposition was changed and the front pipes were replaced by zinc pipes. However, most of the original pipe work is still present. In the past, the organ will undoubtedly have had a neo-Gothic case, which has partly disappeared. Windchests, bellows, mechanisms and console are still original.
