The Metzler company built a new main organ for the Sankt Martinskirche in Malters in 1977-1979. The old Goll organ from 1927 was demolished at the end of November 1975. Consultants were Bernhardt Edskes and Werner Minnig. The front was designed by Paul Hintermann. The wood carving was made by Josef Bühlmann. The organ has 37 registers on three manuals and pedal. The organ was dedicated on September 16, 1979.
