In 1979 werd het orgel van de Potchefstroomse Universiteit vir Christelike Hoer Onderwys, tegenwoordig North Western University, in Potchefstroom, herbouwd en uitgebreid door de firma South African Organ Builders. Adviseur bij de bouw was Eddie Davey. Het originele orgel werd gebouwd in de jaren zestig van de twintigste eeuw.
