- Het orgel in de kathedraal van Antananarivo werd in 1885 gebouwd door Eugène Puget, orgelmaker in Toulouse. Het is in 1890 door abbé Elie Collin gekocht voor de kathedraal en werd door hemzelf overgeplaatst en opgebouwd. Op 17 december 1890 werd het orgel gewijd.
- In 1969 is het orgel gerestaureerd door Andry Ramiliarijaona. Daarbij is de manuaalomvang vergroot van 54 naar 56 toetsen en is de dispositie gewijzigd. Het pijpwerk van de Flûte 32' van het pedaal is links en rechts van het orgel geplaatst.
