In the years 1725-1727 Adam Horace Casparini built a new organ for the Jasna Góra Bazylika in Częstochowa. The instrument had 33 registers. In 1829 it was rebuilt and modified by Igancy Ziernicki and Franciszek Szefler. This was followed by another rebuild in the years 1850-1854. The old organ has not been preserved except for the case of the main work. Stefan Truszczyński built the current organ in 1956. The case of the gallery positive was removed, and no old pipework was used in the new construction.
