Het huidige orgel van Saint Alkmund in Shrewsbury heeft op verschillende locaties gestaan. Het werd in 1931 gebouwd door Harrison & Harrison voor de kapel van het College of Saint Nicholas in Chislehurst, Kent. Helen Man Stuart schonk het instrument aan de school ter nagedachtenis aan haar overleden man, John Alexander Man Stuart. In 1954 werd het orgel overgeplaatst naar de kapel van de Royal School of Church Music in Addington Palace, Surrey. Hier deed het dienst tot 1996, toen het werd verplaatst naar de kapel van de Royal School of Church Music in Cleveland Lodge, Westhumble, Surrey. In 2006 is het door Trevor Tipple gerestaureerd en opgebouwd in Saint Alkmund's Church in Shrewsbury.
