Voor de in de jaren 1883-1893 gebouwde Saint Margaret's Church in Oxford bouwde de firma Hill & Sons een orgel, dat in 1892 in gebruik werd genomen. Verschillende registers werden pas in de volgende jaren geplaatst. In 1904 was het orgel gereed op zes stemmen na. In 1921 voerde Percy Phipps een revisie uit. Daarbij zijn de zes gereserveerde stemmen geplaatst. Ook wijzigde Phipps de tractuur in buizenpneumatiek.
