The organ in the Franziskanerkirche in Lucerne was built in 1653 by Sebald Manderscheidt in a organ case designed by Nicholas Geisler. The instrument has been extensively rebuilt over time. Under the advice of Werner Endner, the company Goll carried out a reconstruction. Much of Manderscheidt's pipework has been preserved in the Hauptwerk. The organ was put back into use on December 4, 1988.
