- The organ of Saint Mary Magdalene in Launceston was built in 1904 by the firm Hele & Co. During the construction they took over several registers and the organ case from the old organ of the church. The case was probably made by Thomas Schwarbrick in 1723.
- The instrument was restored in 1960. In June 2013, the organ was overhauled by Lance Foy.
