  • In 1875 the firm of Hutchings, Plaisted & Co. an organ for the Eugene Thayer Studio of the organist and composer Eugene Thayer (1838-1889) in Boston, Massachusetts. He sold the instrument in 1878, and in a roundabout way it was finally installed in the North Parish Universalist Chapel in Woodstock, Vermont, in 1881.
  • A restoration was prepared for in May 1966.
