1990 Vleugels Orgelmanufactur  restoration

  • The parish church in Eppstein was completed in 1903. A second-hand Sauer organ was bought, which was built in 1890 for the Friedenskirche in Mannheim. Although the organ is not very large, it has never been replaced by a new instrument.
  • The original prospect pipes were removed in 1917. The organ case was destroyed in 1969 during a modernization of the interior of the church. Furthermore, the Gamba has been cut to a Quint and the Aeoline to a Principal 2'. The Mixtur has also been altered. In 1990 the company Vleugels carried out a restoration. The original organ case has been reconstructed at this occasion.
