1950 Lotar Hintz  rebuild

In 1916, the Walcker company built a concert organ with eighteen stops for the new Gymnasium building in Lennep. The instrument was put into service on July 30, 1916. In 1950 the organ was converted by Lotar. He radically changed the stop list, aiming for a clearer sounding instrument with a baroque specification. The action was not altered. A few years later, the instrument fell out of use. Partly due to construction work in the auditorium, it deteriorated rapidly. In 1978 it was finally demolished and replaced by a new organ.
