- In 1667 schonk de 'Grand Condé', prins van Bourbon, een orgel aan het Couvent de Carmes de Saint-Amand-Montrond. Het orgel werd gebouwd door Claude Thévenau in de fraaie kas, vervaardigd door Claude Péret uit Bourges. Het orgel werd in 1668 in gebruik genomen. In 1835 is het door François Daublaine overgeplaatst naar de Église Saint-Amand.
- In 1877 bouwde Aristide Cavaillé-Coll een nieuw orgel in de kassen van Péret. Dit instrument is in 1967 vervangen door het huidige, gebouwd door Robert Boisseau. In 2013 voerden Jean-Marie Gaborit en Jean-Baptiste Boisseau een restauratie uit.
