The organ contains older material: from 1726 by Pierre Marchand
In 1857, Prosper-Antoine Moitessier built a large new organ for the Église Notre-Dame-du-Bourguet in Forcalquier. The organ case is designed in a classic french style. The organ was restored and modified in 1932, during a restoration by the company Mutin-Cavaillé-Coll. In 1981 Alain Sals reconstructed the original situation. Maintenance was carried out in 2000 by Alain Sals and Charles Henry, who enlarged the Pedal with two new stops.
