Built by: Weigle Orgelbau (1968)
In 1968 the Weigle company built a completely new organ for the Martinskirche in Stuttgart-Plieningen. Construction consultant was Walter Lutz. The organ was placed on the choir of the church. The church housed a historic organ case by Georg Friedrich Schmahl from 1726. This was sold and used for the construction of a new organ for the Michaelskirche in Heidenheim an der Brenz. The Weigle organ was restored in 2008.
