Built by: Matthäus Abbrederis (1725)
The organ of the Stadtkirche in Maienfeld was built in 1725 by Johann Matthäus Abbrederis. In 1897, Jakob Metzler worked on the organ. He installed new bellows, expanded the short lower octave of the manual and modified the specification slightly. In 1967-1968 the organ was restored by Oscar Metzler & Söhne and expanded with a Brustwerk and a new independent pedal. The Flauto 8' was reconstructed using the Flauto of the Abbrederis organ in Pfäfers as a model.
