The First Church of Deerfield was built in 1673, it is one of the oldest church buildings in the United States of America. In 1890 a new organ was installed, opus 736 of the company Johnson & Son. This organ was in a bad state, and a renovation in the eighties did nog have the desired result. The instrument was sold and the firm Richards & Fowkes built a new organ in 2001-2002. It is a two-manual organ, designed in North-German baroque style.
