Onder advies van organist Paul Hale plaatste Peter Wood in de jaren 1990-1992 een tweedehands orgel van James Binns als nave organ in de kathedraal van Southwell. Het orgel is daarbij enigszins gewijzigd. Op 25 mei 1992 nam men het in gebruik met een concert door Roger Fisher.
