- Matteus Kyrka in Stockholm was inaugurated in 1903. The company Åkerman & Lund built an organ with twelve registers, which was placed in the choir of the church. In 1924 the church was renovated and enlarged. The organ was now renewed and expanded by Åkerman & Lund to 45 stops and moved to the west side of the church.
- The current organ was built in 1972 by Marcussen & Søn. Rolf Bergh designed the front. Organist Bengt Bert and Alf Linder were consultants during the construction. Some registers have been taken over from the old organ on the swell. The new organ has full mechanical action, but there are four electric free combinations and a barker machine for the main work. In 1999 the organ was overhauled by Jan Börjeson and equipped with a modern electronic setzer with 10,000 combination options and four fixed combinations.
