In 1776, Jonas Wistenius built a new organ with eleven stops for Älvestad's Kyrka. In 1902 the organ was converted by G. Lundquist and W. Thunberg. Some stops were changed or replaced and an independent pedal was installed. Much more drastic was the renovation in 1937 by Bo Wedrup, who in fact built a new organ, in which the old pipework was largely replaced. The church building burned down completely on March 29, 2007.
