In 1839 Sven Nordström built an organ with one manual and pulldown pedals for the church of Bälaryd. It was extended in 1895 by Erik Nordström with a Principal 8' and a Fugara 4' on the manual. In 1926 Carl Rickard Löfvander carried out a restoration. Finally, the organ was renovated by Magnusson in 1942. The Trumpet 8' has been replaced by a Rörflöjt 4'. The pedal was fitted with its own windchest with a Borduna 16', but also remained attached.
