Kenneth Tickell built a Chamber Organ for Peterborough Cathedral in 1990. Two historical stops were used in the construction, made by John Avery in the eighteenth century. Especially for the inauguration during the Peterborough Festival in 1990, John Joubert composed several pieces, which were performed by Nicholas Danby. The organ is equipped with a transposable keyboard.
