The organ contains older material: from 1807 by Louis Geib, from 1948 by firma Georges Schwenkedel
In 1806/1807 Louis Geib built a new organ for the Evangelische Kirche in Niederbronn-les-Bains. The instrument was inspected on August 2, 1807 by Joseph Laboussière. The organ had two manuals and pedal. In 1828 it was repaired by Jacob Möller. Möller replaced Geib's two trumpets, which were made of lead, with new tin ones. In 1948 the organ was completely rebuilt by Schwenkedel. He made an almost new instrument with pneumatic action and a freestanding console. This work was replaced in 1970 by a new organ with mechanical action by Alfred Kern. Geib's still existing pipework has been re-used, as have some Schwenkedel's ranks.
