Year | Builder | Opus | Activity | 1784 | Sebastian Krämer | new organ | 1922 | Etablissements E.-A. Roethinger | 86 | rebuild | 1972 | Alfred Kern & fils | new organ in old case |
- Sebastian Krämer built a new organ for the Catholic parish church Notre-Dame in Saverne in 1784. He transferred the old organ of the church, an instrument by Waltrin from 1717/1723, to Rappoltsweiler. The new organ was repaired several times, but survived the nineteenth century without major modifications. The front pipes also did not have to be relinquished in 1917, because it was thought that the work was by Silbermann.
- However, in 1922 Roethinger completely rebuilt the organ into a three manual pneumatic organ with two swell works and almost forty stops. The new specification was inspired by the Alsatian Orgelreform. Very little of Krämer's pipework has been preserved.
- In 1972 the organ was rebuilt by Alfred Kern with mechanical slider chests.
