The organ contains older material: Organ case from ca. 1750? by Jean Baptiste Waltrin

  • In the Roppentzwiller church, the Callinet brothers installed an organ with twelve stops and an attached pedal in the years between 1837 and 1843. The organ case is older and dates from the mid-eighteenth century. Johann Baptist Waltrin is regarded as the maker. It is not known where this case came from.
  • After the construction of a new church, the organ was transferred in 1875, but without making any changes. The front pipes were requisitioned in 1917 and were later replaced by zinc ones.
  • The organ has not been in use since 2013. A three-manual electronic Johannus organ has been placed on the gallery.
