The organ in the Protestant church in Bornheim in the Palatinate was built in 1980 by Werner Owart. The organ case with the prospect pipes is much older. These were built in 1799 by Andreas Ubhauser. The organ was repaired and renovated several times in the nineteenth century: in 1828 by Wendelin Ubhaus, in 1842 by Franz Hof and in 1898 by the Gebrüder Huber. But in 1922 the old organ was replaced by a pneumatic instrument from Adolf Poppe & Sohn. The old front pipes remained, but were no longer connected. They werd made speaking again in the new construction of 1980. In addition to the organ case with front pipes from 1799, a number of Poppe ranks from 1922 have also been reused. The organ was renovated in 1995-1996 by Gerhard Kuhn.
