1994 A. Thompson-Allen Company  restoration

  • In 1938, Aeolian-Skinner supplied an organ for the Ashburn Chapel at Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts. The organ was designed by G. Donald Harrison in collaboration with Edward W. Flint, organist of the chapel. It is remarkable for the time of construction that the organ has no units and that the stop list is classic in structure.
  • Over time the organ has been overhauled by the Andover Organ Company. Two reserved stops were added, the Principal from Great and the Voix Celeste from Swell. Andover also installed an Antiphonal Organ with three ranks. In 1993/1994 the Thompson-Allen company carried out a restoration. The Antiphonal Organ was removed by them.
