  • The organ in the Sankt Katharinenkirche in Brandenburg was built in the years 1726-1727 by Joachim Wagner. It was a three manual organ with 35 stops. In 1855 it was restored by the firm Gesell & Schultze.
  • The Sauer firm built a new organ in Wagner's organ cases in 1898, with cone chests and pneumatic action. This work was rebuilt and modified in 1937 by Alexander Schuke. In 1993 a restoration was carried out by the same company. A new console was installed with a modern combination action with 64 setzer-combinations.
  • In the years 2018-2020 the organ was restored and expanded by the company Alexander Schuke. The concept was a restoration of the instrument in the 1936-1937 situation, but with a modern central console, a new auxiliary organ with 26 stops located on the lower gallery and a new solo organ on the north gallery. The choir organ can also be played from the fifth manual of the new console. The complete instrument now has 96 stops and a five-manual console. On August 28, 2020, the organ has been inaugurated with a concert by Fred Litwinski.
