In 1712, Louis de la Haye built an organ for the Sint Denijs Church in Kalken with 26 stops (sixteen on the Great Organ and ten on the Positive). It was modified in 1784 by Pieter van Peteghem. He installed a manual coupler and expanded the organ with a small pedal with twelve keys. In the nineteenth century, the organ was overhauled several times, during which various alterations were made. A radical conversion took place in 1971/1972 by the company Loncke under the advice of Gerard Van Durme. Almost all the old material has been lost. On April 30, 1972, the renewed organ was dedicated.
