Johann Jakob Dahm built an organ for the Carmelite Monastery in Frankfurt am Main in 1709. The organ had two manuals and a pedal with 22 stops. It was extended in 1748 by Johann Christian Köhler with a third manual with seven stops. In 1809 the monastery was closed. The organ could be sold to the Sankt Galluskirche in Flörsheim. The instrument has been modified over time. Paul Ott restored the work in 1959-1961. Fischer & Krämer restored it again in 1989. Eleven registers from Dahm are still fully present.
