- A new organ for the Église Collégiale in Romont was to be constructed by the company Gonzalez in 1939-1940. It replaced an organ by Joseph Merklin from 1872. But because of the Second World War, the organ could was left unfinished in May 1940. The company Kuhn built the organ in 1943, using all the pipes that had already been manufactured by Gonzalez. The organ case and prospect, and all reed stops were manufactured by Kuhn.
- The organ has been rebuilt in 1995 by J.D. Ayer. The new organ was constructed with the use of 44 stops from the Gonzalez-Kuhn organ. The facade from 1943 has also been re-used. In 2019 the organ has been overhauled by the company Blumenroeder. A new combination system was added, and some octave couplers. On the Positif the Trompette was replaced with a Fagott 16'.
