De firma Hugo Mayer bouwde in 1995 een nieuw orgel voor de Sankt Josefkirche in Wehrden. De orgelkas stamt uit 1729 en is afkomstig van het orgel dat Johann Michael Stumm in dat jaar voor het Agnetenklooster in Trier maakte. Na de secularisatie aan het begin van de negentiende eeuw werd dit orgel naar de Dom van Trier verplaatst, waar het als koororgel functioneerde. In 1905 kwam het in Wehrden terecht. De firma Roethinger bouwde in 1930 een nieuw orgel in de oude kas. Dit was een pneumatisch orgel met 25 registers.
