The Saint Bavo Church in Boechout was partially rebuilt in the years 1897-1898. Only the choir and transepts of the old church remained. The old organ has also been demolished. The new church was dedicated on March 24, 1898. The Stevens firm installed a new organ in 1905, placed in two neo-Gothic cases on either side of the window in the tower.
