  • The Christuskirche in Memmingen was consecrated on March 9, 1970. Ekkehard Simon built a pipe organ for the church in the next year. The instrument was inaugurated on May 16, 1971, with a concert by the consultant, Friedrich Högner.
  • In 2012-2013 the organ was overhauled. It was taken into use again on July 14, 2013, with a concert by Hans-Eberhard Ross.
