In 1902 the firm of Furtwängler & Hammer completed a two-manual organ for the Herz Jesukirche in Plauen. It was modified in 1930 by Alfred Schmeisser. Schmeisser restored the organ from war damage in 1947. The instrument was restored by Gerd-Christian Bochmann in the years 1994-1995. The organ was restored by Thomas Wolf in 2017-2018. It was put back into use on December 21, 2018.
