In 1794, Adam Adolph Otto built a new organ with six stops for the Sankt Oswaldkirche of the Johanniterkommende in Würzburg. After closure of the church, the building was demolished in 1814. The organ was sold and installed in the Kreuzkapelle in Eibelstadt in 1815. In 1933, alterations were made by Willibald Siemann. In 1974, Winfried Elenz reconstructed the original specification.
