The Martin-Lutherkirche in Berlin-Neukölln was built in 1908-1909 to a design by Fritz Gottlob. The Weigle firm built an organ for the church. On the advice of Paul Schmidt, an organ was chosen that was combined with a Schiedmayer harmonium. The resulting hybrid instrument was given the name 'Parabrahm'-Orgel. Another special feature of the organ was the 'doppelten Tastenfall', in which pressing a key more deeply allowed more registers to speak. In 1927 the organ was expanded and modified by Weigle. The organ was lost in 1944, when the church burned down completely as a result of bombings.
