- In 1785 Johann Georg Geib built a new organ for the Evangelische Kirche in Assenheim. The organ had one manual with eleven stops and an independent pedal with two stops. In 1830, the instrument was expanded with a second manual by Georg Geib. He divided the old windchest in two parts and installed the existing ranks on the two works, supplemented with a new Gedackt 8' and Flautino 1'. The stoplist was altered around 1880. The Trompete has been replaced by a Gamba 8', and the Flautino by a Salicional 8'.
- In 1939 and 1949 the organ was restored by Joseph Poppe under the advice of Adolf Graf. A new Trompete was placed on the Hauptwerk in place of the Octav 4'. This rank moved to the Hinterwerk, on the location of the Flöte 4'. The Salicional was shortened to a Sifflöte 1'. The Gamba of the Hauptwerk was shortened to a Kleingedackt 4'. The compass of the pedal was enlarged. In 1949 the Octav 4' and the Kleingedackt 4' were exchanged. The stop Violonbaß 8' of the pedal was renamed to Octavbaß.
- The organ was restored in 1991 by Franz Rietzsch. It is not clear whether any changes have been made.
