The organ of the Evangelische Kirche in Alsenz was built in 1853 by Gustav Schlimbach. The original location of the organ was in the choir of the church. In 1928 it was relocated to the gallery on the westside of the nave. In 1962 it had to be dismantled and put in storage, because of a major restoration of the church building. The Oberlinger company restored the organ in 1978 and installed it again in the church. The original cone chests were replaced by new slider chests and the stoplist was expanded.
